Ernest The Bull
Ernest, now a local legend, is a true example of the incredible transformative power of boxing.
As an Austin native, Ernest grew up on the streets and always getting into trouble. Looking for a purpose, he poured his time and energy into boxing. He believes boxing saved his life.
Against these odds, Ernest won the 1981 golden gloves championship which inspired him to give back to his community and help others who, like his younger self, need support and mentorship. He has been coaching ever since.
In addition to his incredible 30 years of boxing experience, Ernest has a black belt in karate.
